Traders in Delhi raise objections to Rahul Gandhi’s rally, fearing an impact on Diwali business

In Delhi, politics and commerce have come into conflict amidst the Diwali festive season. Traders have expressed concern regarding the Congress party’s mega-rally scheduled for November 1st at Ramlila Maidan. They fear that the rally could lead to traffic congestion, route diversions, and general commuting difficulties, which might negatively affect business during the festive period. The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has written to Rahul Gandhi, requesting that the date of the rally be changed.
