A protest is underway outside the residence of Abhijit Deepke, founder of the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP). The protest took place in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, during a meeting of the CJP’s core team on Thursday. Two youths, claiming to be associated with the movement, staged a sit-in outside Deepke’s home in the Waluj MIDC area, alleging that they were denied the opportunity to participate in the core team meeting or voice their views. The protesting youths have been identified as Manish Brahmbhatt and Rahul Pandya.
