UP Elections: Owaisi extends open alliance offer to Akhilesh; SP gives a sharp retort

Political temperatures are rising ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has extended an open offer of an alliance to Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav to stop the BJP. Speaking at a public rally in Moradabad, Owaisi stated that he is ready to contest the elections alongside the SP to prevent the BJP from coming to power. Responding to the offer, the Samajwadi Party took a dig at Owaisi, asserting that his motive is not to strengthen the opposition but to harm the SP. Meanwhile, the BJP and Congress also reacted sharply to the issue.
