Uproar in Parliament again; Opposition targets Amit Shah; war of words between Kharge and Rijiju!

Thursday witnessed a massive uproar during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Outside the House, braving the rain, the Opposition staged a protest against the central government over issues including police action against students and the theft of temple offerings. Meanwhile, inside the Rajya Sabha, a heated exchange took place between Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. Kharge demanded that Home Minister Amit Shah come to the House and provide a response, while Rijiju accused the Opposition of disrupting the proceedings.
