UTU Paper Leak: Questions Circulated on WhatsApp; Accused Professor Faces 7-Year Ban
Protests regarding paper leaks in NEET and other competitive examinations are ongoing across the country. Amidst this, an incident involving the leak of two B.Tech third-year papers at Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) has come to light. It is alleged that the assistant professor responsible for setting the question papers shared the questions in a WhatsApp group prior to the exam. The police have arrested the accused professor, both papers have been cancelled, and the university has imposed a seven-year ban on him. Following this incident, the opposition has targeted the government, while the BJP has assured that strict action will be taken against the guilty.
