Waterlogging on Banda-Tanda Highway Exposes Poor Conditions After Rain

The condition of the Banda-Tanda Highway has deteriorated significantly following heavy rainfall in Banda. Water accumulation was so severe that the road resembled a river. A car got stuck amidst the waterlogging, while a trolley loaded with bricks overturned. In light of the situation, Banda District Magistrate Amit Aseri has directed the PWD to inspect all roads in the district. Images surfacing after the rain have also raised questions regarding the quality and maintenance of the road.
