Who is Jagdish Afle, set to take on the role of Secretary for the Ram Mandir Trust?

The name of the new Secretary for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been finalized; Jagdish Afle will assume this position. The announcement regarding the appointment will be made during the Trust’s meeting scheduled for September 2. Afle has been serving as a project engineer for the Ram Mandir construction since 2021. Previously, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and member Dr. Anil Mishra had resigned following the emergence of a case involving the theft of offerings made at the temple. A new Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the theft of Ram Mandir donations and is expected to submit its report soon. Political rhetoric has also intensified following the news of Afle’s appointment as Secretary.
