Yogi Government’s SIT Report Released; Opposition Attacks BJP; 8 Accused Arrested

A major update has emerged regarding the Ram Mandir donation theft controversy. Following the release of the final report by the SIT constituted by the Yogi government, Champat Rai (former General Secretary) and Anil Mishra (former member) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust have been given a clean chit. The report names eight accused individuals whom the police have already arrested. An FIR had previously been registered at Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Janmabhoomi police station based on the SIT’s preliminary report in this matter. Political sparring has intensified following the clean chit; the Samajwadi Party has targeted the BJP, while the BJP maintains that anyone found guilty during the investigation will not be spared.
