Political tensions over the E20 petrol policy have escalated in Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest against E20 petrol by organizing a march towards the Prime Minister’s residence; however, they were stopped midway due to security concerns. Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the government is imposing E20 petrol on the public and that consumers should have the choice to opt for pure petrol. Meanwhile, the Central Government maintains that ethanol blending will reduce oil imports, benefit farmers, and curb pollution.
