“Third-rate people—how do such people become MPs? They have no understanding of politics…” These are the remarks Abu Azmi made regarding BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. The controversy stems from an Instagram story Kangana posted a few days ago, in which she commented on young women protesting against the NEET paper leak. Although she later released a video to clarify her stance, the issue remains heated; now, SP leader Abu Azmi has labeled her statement “third-rate.”
