Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the exchange of words between political parties has intensified and turned acrimonious. Once again, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) President Om Prakash Rajbhar has targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He raised several questions regarding alliance politics, seat-sharing, and the internal affairs of the Samajwadi Party. Rajbhar was responding to a social media post by Akhilesh Yadav, in which the latter had cited figures regarding seat-sharing among NDA alliance partners in UP. Rajbhar claimed that Akhilesh himself wants the BJP to win so that his family remains safe; he also made a major statement asserting that the SP would allocate 201 seats to the Congress, as the Congress is essential for the SP.
