Allegation of gang-rape of a young woman in Amroha; Sub-Inspector, constable, and two CRPF personnel arrested

Amroha, Uttar Pradesh: A serious case involving the alleged gang-rape of a 23-year-old woman has come to light in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. Following the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case and arrested four accused individuals; the group reportedly includes a Sub-Inspector, a constable, and two CRPF personnel. According to the police, the accused are charged with taking the woman along under the pretext of visiting a religious site and subsequently gang-raping her. The police have initiated interrogation of the accused, and the investigation is proceeding based on the victim’s statement and other evidence.
