Prostitution racket busted at Katni spas; minor girls rescued

Katni, Madhya Pradesh: The illicit trade of prostitution has once again come to light at spa centers operating in the Bargawan area of ​​Katni city. Led by a DSP and the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Women’s Police Station, the police conducted simultaneous raids on ‘Natural Thai Spa’ and ‘Awa Spa Center,’ apprehending 10 young women and 6 men in compromising positions. Among those detained were minor girls who had been brought to Katni from Northeastern states, Haryana, Bengal, Agra, and Mumbai under the pretext of spa employment. Following interrogation and investigation, the police have registered an FIR against 10 individuals associated with both centers under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and are now attempting to track down the kingpins involved in trafficking women and minors from other states.
