Amidst CJP protests in Delhi, the Supreme Court issued a major order stating that metro services must continue and the internet should not be shut down.
The Supreme Court heard two petitions filed against the police regarding the protests in Delhi. The Court directed that metro services should operate normally, the internet should not be disrupted, and the movement of people should not be obstructed. Meanwhile, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the Court that out of 303 stations, only 45 had been closed; however, all stations are now open, and metro operations are running smoothly.
