Amidst this, Houthi rebels in Yemen have carried out an act that has drawn global attention: they sank an Indian-flagged vessel near the Red Sea. The vessel, named MSV Faize Noore Auliya, carried a crew of 14—comprising 13 Indians and one Yemeni national. Following the attack, Yemeni security forces rescued all 14 crew members. The vessel was attacked approximately 13 nautical miles south of Hodeidah, a port city controlled by the Houthi rebels.
