CM Soren agrees to speak with students in Jharkhand; pledges full support.

Protests continue in Jharkhand against alleged irregularities in the JPSC, JSSC-CGL, and other competitive examinations. Students have left their homes to join the agitation, demanding that the Hemant Soren government take action against those responsible. Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto, who had been on an indefinite hunger strike since July 3, consumed water on Wednesday. He took this step following a special appeal from renowned social activist Sonam Wangchuk. Notably, Wangchuk spoke with the 33-year-old Mahto via a video call for about 10 minutes; during the conversation, he expressed solidarity with the protesting students and voiced deep concern over Mahto’s deteriorating health.
