Anant Singh’s bail cancelled in Dularchand Yadav murder case; ‘strongman’ expresses anguish over surrender order

Anant Singh, the ‘strongman’ MLA expelled from the Janata Dal (United), has suffered a setback from the Supreme Court. The apex court has ordered him to surrender by December 1. This directive came in response to a petition seeking the cancellation of his bail. Neeraj Kumar, the grandson of the deceased, had challenged in the Supreme Court the bail granted by the High Court to Anant Singh—the ‘strongman’ MLA from Mokama—who is an accused in the Dularchand Yadav murder case. The Supreme Court has also directed that the investigation into this murder case be completed within four months.
