Bihar reels under floods; Samrat, Tejashwi, and Chirag shocked by the situation
Continuous rainfall in Nepal and Jharkhand has created flood-like conditions in Bihar. Several major rivers in the state are flowing above the danger mark. On Friday, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas and took stock of the relief and rescue operations. He directed officials to expedite the delivery of relief to the affected regions and ensure the safety of the people. He emphasized that affected individuals must receive all possible assistance in a timely manner and that there should be no negligence regarding the safety of lives and property. Apart from Samrat Chaudhary, Union Minister Chirag Paswan also visited Vaishali to inspect the flood-hit areas; he assessed the situation and assured that no one would face difficulties regarding relief supplies. Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, also visited the flood-affected regions. He toured several areas in Raghopur and criticized the government for its lack of action.
