Sangeet Som, known as a firebrand BJP leader, is making headlines for his remarks regarding Akhilesh Yadav. He launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Akhilesh Yadav’s ‘PDA’ concept while in Meerut. On Monday, Som attended an event to unveil a statue of Babasaheb, organized by the Dalit community in the village of Bhagwanpur (under the jurisdiction of the Ichauli police station and Sardhana tehsil). During the event, he urged the people to become formidable and took a dig at the SP’s ‘PDA’ slogan. Som stated that Akhilesh’s ‘PDA’ stands for *Paapi* (Sinner), *Dakait* (Dacoit), and *Apradhi* (Criminal), adding that Akhilesh is the “father of criminals.”
