BMC 295 Polluting Bakeries Ko Showcause Notices Degi

(BMC) ne 295 polluting bakeries ko showcause notices issue karne ka faisla liya hai, jo abhi tak wood ya coal se fuel ka istemaal kar rahi hain.
Bombay High Court ne ek hafte pehle bakeries ko ek saal ka extension dene se inkaar kar diya tha, jisse inhe PNG (piped natural gas) ya electric fuel par switch karne ka pressure badh gaya hai
Yeh bakeries, jo total 592 mein se hain, abhi tak conversion process shuru nahi ki hain, aur defaulters ko closure ka saamna karna pad sakta hai.
BMC ke ek official ne bataya, “Hum court ke faisle ka intezaar kar rahe the, lekin ab showcause notices 30 din ke andar issue hongay. Agar bakeries comply nahi karti, toh unhe band karna padega.
