Building collapses in Delhi’s Satya Niketan; BJP vows action against the guilty, Opposition outraged.
A major incident occurred on Sunday in Satya Niketan, near Delhi University’s South Campus, where a five-story building suddenly collapsed. It is estimated that 30 to 40 students were inside the building at the time of the incident. So far, one fatality has been reported, while eight people have been rescued. Multiple rescue teams—including the fire department, police, and NDRF—are present at the site, and relief operations are proceeding rapidly. The collapse took place around 1:30 PM. Leaders from various political parties, including Rekha Gupta, have arrived at the scene following the incident.
