CJI Surya Kant inaugurates High Court bench in Leh; LG Vinai Kumar Saxena extends congratulations

Leh: The inauguration of a Ladakh bench of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh in Leh has been hailed as a historic milestone for the region. The bench was inaugurated by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, in the presence of judges from the Supreme Court, as well as the Chief Justice and other judges of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Congratulating the people, Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena stated that the new bench would reduce the need for individuals to travel long distances in search of justice, alleviate the financial burden associated with litigation, and strengthen the judicial system within the Union Territory. He also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their support.
