On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, the entire nation is immersed in devotion to Lord Krishna. Meanwhile, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura and performed rituals with due reverence. Speaking from Krishna Janmabhoomi and referring to the attacks on Sanatan Dharma, Yogi Adityanath remarked that those who sought to erase Sanatan were themselves reduced to dust. He also issued a warning to anti-national and anti-social forces. Yogi spoke of developing a grand shrine in Mathura, following the model of Ayodhya and Kashi. Additionally, he fiercely criticized the vote-bank politics of previous governments.
