Congress leader Jitu Patwari’s brother implicated in drug case; released after hours of questioning
The Madhya Pradesh Congress State President, a figure who frequently dominates political discourse in the state, is back in the headlines—this time due to his own brother. The Rajendra Nagar police have detained Jitu Patwari’s brother, Nana (alias Kulbhushan Patwari), and his friend, Manav Gangwani, in connection with a drug trafficking case. The police had previously arrested two peddlers, Irfan Khan and Sanjay Kaushal, with 10.8 grams of ‘brown sugar’. During interrogation, the peddlers confessed that they were on their way to deliver the drugs to Nana and Manav, prompting the police to take the duo into custody.
