Devotees Perform ‘Antargrihi Parikrama’ to Mark One Year of the Daily Ramkot Circumambulation in Ayodhya
The daily Ramkot *parikrama* (circumambulation) in the holy city of Ayodhya completed one year on Friday. A grand event was organized to mark the occasion, attended by thousands of devotees alongside *sadhus* and saints. The enthusiasm of the devotees of Lord Ram was palpable during this special *parikrama*, which began at 5:30 AM. Initiated following the construction of the Ram Mandir, this circumambulation has now become an integral part of daily life in Ayodhya. In ancient times, it was known as ‘Antargrihi Parikrama’. It is believed that *sadhus*, saints, and ascetics have been performing this *parikrama* for centuries, and the Ram Mandir Trust has now revived the practice on a regular basis.
