Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has once again demanded that PM Modi apologize for the lathi-charge on students at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Speaking at the launch of a book by former MP Vaiko, the Leader of the Opposition stated that the country’s students are in “deep distress” and do not need forgiveness from Prime Minister Narendra Modi; rather, they need an apology from his government for the actions taken against them.
