Two ISI-backed terror modules busted; 9 arrested; Pakistan links revealed

In a major operation, the Amritsar Police have busted two alleged terror modules linked to Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI. Nine individuals, including four minors, were arrested during the operation. According to the police, items such as pistols, live ammunition, petrol bombs, CCTV cameras, and other equipment were recovered from the accused. Investigations suggest that CCTV cameras were installed near railway tracks to transmit footage to Pakistan. Police also stated that some members of the modules had participated in a CJP protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and were plotting a major conspiracy under the guise of the agitation. Authorities are also investigating alleged funding via Paytm and contacts with ISI handlers based abroad.
