Farmers Swindled of ₹4–5 Crore; Etawah Police Nab Cunning Gang

A gang that defrauded farmers and traders under the guise of an ‘Agro Mart’ has been busted in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. The fraudsters swindled crores of rupees by luring victims with promises of supplying grain and seeds at low prices. The police have arrested four members of this interstate gang. SSP Brijesh Kumar Srivastava disclosed details of the case at the Police Lines around 3 PM on Tuesday.
