A case of brutal murder has come to light in Kanpur, UP, where a man was first killed and subsequently beheaded. The police were alerted to the crime after the man’s torso was found lying on the road. The incident occurred on Makanpur Road in the Bilhaur area; a headless body was discovered near the Khurd Khojanpur turn, with the victim’s bicycle lying nearby. Upon arriving at the scene, the police conducted a search and, after about an hour, recovered the severed head from a water-filled pit located roughly 10–12 feet away from the torso. Images show police personnel retrieving the head and handing it over to the forensic team. The deceased has been identified as Raj Kishore Patwa; the police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination and have launched a search for the perpetrators.
