India’s Ministry of External Affairs responds to elections in PoK

Protests are ongoing in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). On one hand, the Pakistan Army is continuously firing upon the people of PoK, while on the other, the Pakistani government is putting up a charade of holding elections there. India has also issued a statement regarding these elections, dismissing the “so-called elections” in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as a sham and urging global organizations to take action against the atrocities being committed against ordinary citizens.
