Ali Ahmed, son of mafia figure Atiq Ahmed, was produced before the Prayagraj District Court on Monday. Ali, who is lodged in Jhansi Jail, was brought to Prayagraj under tight security and appeared before ADJ Court No. 16. The hearing took place in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Shailendra Mani Tripathi. Following the hearing, Ali was sent back to Jhansi Jail. During Ali Ahmed’s court appearance, Prayagraj resembled a fortress; a heavy police force was deployed at the court complex and the surrounding areas. The locality witnessed a flurry of activity, with a visible police presence at every nook and corner to ensure security.
