In a significant development regarding the money laundering case linked to the Mahadev online betting app, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Ebix Group Chairman Vikas Garg. Just a few days ago, the ED had attached assets worth over ₹940 crore belonging to Vikas Garg, his family, and associated companies. A special court in Raipur has remanded Vikas Garg to ED custody for 24 hours. Meanwhile, the matter has also intensified political activity, with the opposition targeting the central government over the issue.
