‘Massive Devastation’ in Nepal! Severe Floods in Bhote Koshi Cause Widespread Destruction; India Sends Aid

Nepal is witnessing the terrifying wrath of nature. Massive flooding in the Bhote Koshi River in the Rasuwa region has caused extensive devastation. More than 160 people have lost their lives in this destructive flash flood, while over 750 are reported missing. The raging floodwaters destroyed numerous homes, roads, and vehicles. According to government figures, 35 bridges and 45 suspension bridges were washed away, and 13 hydroelectric projects sustained damage. The Nepal Army and rescue teams are conducting relief and rescue operations on a war footing. Meanwhile, India has also extended a helping hand to Nepal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the Prime Minister of Nepal, assuring him of all possible assistance, and India has dispatched HADR (Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief) and medical aid to support relief efforts.
