Mumbai: Maharashtra FDA ne Colaba ke Metro House mein Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. dwara operated McDonald’s Family Restaurant ka FSSAI licence 19 August 2026 se suspend kar diya hai.

FDA ke mutabik, reinspection mein pehle issue kiye gaye Improvement Notice ke 20 critical points mein se 18 deficiencies abhi bhi unresolved ya non-compliant mili.

FDA Ne Yeh Major Violations Bataye:

– Cockroaches: Premises mein live cockroach activity reportedly mili aur required pest traps missing the.

– Rotting Food Waste: Kitchen floor par food storage aur preparation area ke paas sada hua food waste mila.

– Temperature Control Failure: Refrigeration equipment calibrated nahi tha aur temperature readings mein serious discrepancies mili, jisse perishable food ke unsafe temperature zone mein jaane ka risk tha.

– Cross-Contamination: Dirty cleaning cloths food-contact surfaces par use hote mile.

– Improper Storage:
Open packaging material ko properly segregate kiye bina racks par rakha gaya tha.
– Dust & Unprotected Lights: Open food preparation area ke upar light fixtures par protective shields nahi the aur heavy dust accumulation report hui.

In violations ko dekhte hue FDA ne McDonald Colaba outlet ka FSSAI licence suspend kar diya hai.
