Mega Demolition of 187 Illegal Structures in Morbi; Land Worth ₹80 Crore Being Cleared

A mega demolition drive against illegal construction has been launched in Morbi, Gujarat. Teams from the Morbi Municipal Corporation and the district administration have begun using bulldozers to raze 187 illegal structures near Savar Pal on Panchasar Road. According to the administration, notices had previously been issued regarding these structures, but the demolition was carried out after the constructions were not removed. Once the operation is complete, approximately 25,000 square meters of land will be cleared; the market value of this land is estimated to be around ₹80 crore.
