She held a significant meeting in Lucknow, attended by district presidents from all 75 districts, divisional coordinators, and various other office-bearers. During the meeting, Mayawati emphasized the need to firmly counter the opponents’ despicable tactics—encompassing conciliation, bribery, punishment, and division—noting that while alluring promises are made for electoral gain, these pledges are invariably broken once the government is formed.
