Mumbai Mein Illegal Bike Taxis Par RTO Ki Badi Karwai

Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) mein 16 July 2025 ko Regional Transport Offices (RTO) ne illegal bike taxi services ke khilaaf bada crackdown kiya.

85 unauthorized bike taxis seize kiye gaye aur 93 vehicles ke khilaaf action liya gaya.

Yeh drive public complaints aur safety concerns ke baad shuru hui, kyunki yeh bikes bina valid permits ke operate ho rahi thi.

Maharashtra Transport Department ke 20 rapid action teams ne Mumbai, Thane, Vasai, Vashi, aur Panvel mein coordinated raids kiye.

In bikes ke riders aur app-based aggregators jaise Rapido, Uber, aur Ola ke khilaaf Motor Vehicles Act ke Section 93 ke under cases register kiye gaye, kyunki inke paas required permits nahi the
