Khandala Ghat ke Adoshi Tunnel ke paas palte propylene gas tanker ko hatane ke baad Mumbai-bound Mumbai–Pune Expressway par 30 ghante baad traffic resume ho gaya. MSRDC ke mutabik, raat 1:46 baje tanker hatate hi traffic shuru kiya gaya.
Is accident ke baad expressway par 20 km tak jam lag gaya tha, jisme hazaron gaadiyan, mahilaen aur bachche ghanton phase rahe, bina khane-paani ke. Gas ko safely doosre tankers me transfer karne ke baad heavy cranes se tanker remove kiya gaya.
Traffic dheere-dheere normal hua, haan subah kuch der ke liye Amrutanjan Bridge ke paas heavy vehicles breakdown hone se slowdown dekha gaya. Incident ke baad toll collection bhi temporarily suspend ki gayi thi.
