Panic in Mathura following Khalistani threat email; security checks intensified everywhere

The police in Mathura are on high alert following a threat email linked to Khalistani elements. The email contains threats to blow up the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex and the Mayor’s office, as well as religious sites in Ayodhya and Varanasi. It also warns of a series of explosions to take place between November 8 and November 27. In the wake of this threat, police, commandos, dog squads, and intelligence agencies have intensified security checks in sensitive areas. The cyber cell is currently working to identify the sender of the email.
