Pitbull Attacks 6-Month-Old Infant in Sonipat; Referred to PGI Rohtak in Critical Condition

Sonipat, Haryana: The administration has swung into action following an incident in Sikka Colony where a Pitbull attacked a six-month-old infant. The dog suddenly attacked the child while he was walking in the street with his aunt, leaving him critically injured; he has been referred to PGI Rohtak for treatment. Following the incident, Municipal Corporation Mayor Rajiv Jain met the victim’s family and assured them of action, while the police have also begun questioning the family. The administration has stated that action will be taken against the dog’s owner in accordance with the rules.
