PM Modi asks teachers for tips to improve public speaking; here’s the response he received
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the recipients of the National Teachers’ Award in New Delhi. During this interaction at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, the PM discussed children’s talent, self-confidence, screen time, and their future prospects with the teachers. PM Modi remarked that every child possesses a unique talent and that teachers should strive to recognize it. He also spoke about the importance of public speaking, consistent practice, and self-confidence. He urged the education community to look beyond textbooks and syllabi and to understand the lives of children. Additionally, he emphasized that “childhood should not be allowed to die.”
