The country is observing ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ on August 14. During the Partition of 1947, lakhs of people lost their lives, crores were displaced, and families lost their loved ones. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled the tragedy of the Partition and paid tribute to the courage and resilience of the victims. PM Modi stated that while the Partition shattered many lives, people overcame the hardships and made significant contributions to nation-building.
