Students’ Rallying Cry in Ranchi: Protest to Continue Until Demands Are Met; Challenge Mounts for Soren Government

The students’ protest in Ranchi against alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC examinations has entered its 21st day. A large number of students remain steadfast at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium, pressing for their demands. Many are observing a hunger strike. The protesting students maintain that the sit-in and agitation will continue until the government takes concrete action regarding their demands. Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto has also been on a hunger strike for several days and has stated that he will continue his fast even while undergoing medical treatment in the hospital.
