Yeh movement Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) ko proposed draft master plan se bachane ke liye shuru hui hai, jisme citizens, environmental activists, aur Adivasi communities ne haath mila liya hai.

Draft plan, jo BMC ne release kiya, eco-tourism aur sustainable development ke naam pe park ke eco-sensitive zone (ESZ) mein construction allow karna chahta hai, jisse habitat aur tribal displacement ka khatra hai

2016 mein Environment Ministry ne Sanjay Gandhi Ke around area ko ESZ banaya tha, jahan development par ban tha. Lekin BMC ka draft plan eco-tourism ke bahane hotels aur resorts lane ki kosish kar raha hai, jiske khilaf activists ne savesgnp.org website launch ki.
