Scene of devastation in Nepal; 781 deaths so far, over 2,500 still missing.

Amidst the massive devastation in Nepal, the casualty toll continues to rise. So far, 781 bodies have been recovered from the debris, while the whereabouts of more than 2,500 people remain unknown. Meanwhile, India’s rescue operation for Indian citizens stranded in Nepal is ongoing; 149 Indians have been safely rescued to date. In addition to sending relief supplies, India has also dispatched a forensic team to Nepal to assist in the identification of bodies.
