According to reports, the principal was on his way home from school around 2 PM on Monday. Shortly after setting out, three individuals on a motorcycle overtook and intercepted him, then began verbally abusing him. When the principal resisted and attempted to flee, the assailants opened fire on him. People working in nearby fields rushed the principal to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
