Election Commission ne Shivsena Uddhav Balasahev Thackeray party ko Mashal Symbol allot kiya tha jispar bihar ki Samata Party ne objection lete hue Delhi High Court me PIL file kiya tha

Samata Party ka kehna tha ke unki party ka symbol 1994 se hai aur Ballot Paper par party symbol Black & White coulor se print hota hai aur humari party ka symbol bhi Mashal ki tarah milta julta hai iss se future me confusion creat ho sakata hai 

Delhi High Court me aaj iss case ki sunwai Justice Narulla ne kiya aur Samata Party ki iss PIL ko reject karte hue kaha ke party ki manyta 2004 me hi khatam kar di gayi thi 

Election Commission ne bhi yeh bataya tha ke 2004 me hi Samata Party ki manyata as a State level party khatam kardiya gaya tha iss liye Mashal symbol free symbol hogaya tha jise ab Uddhav Thackeray ki party ko allot kiya gaya
