SP fields no Muslim candidate for Rajya Sabha polls; Maulana Shahabuddin says, “Akhilesh is no well-wisher of Muslims; he will face the consequences in 2027.”

On one hand, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav is exuding confidence about victory in the UP elections; on the other, resentment is growing among several clerics in the state. The SP has not fielded a Muslim candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections. In this context, Maulana Shahabuddin asserts that while Mulayam Singh was a true well-wisher of Muslims, Akhilesh Yadav is not. Maulana Shahabuddin goes so far as to say that Akhilesh Yadav will have to pay the price for this in the 2027 assembly elections. Meanwhile, Kashish Warsi, National President of the Sufi Foundation, claims that the SP merely uses Muslims. The question remains: will Akhilesh Yadav truly have to face the consequences in 2027?
