Students hold ground outside Jharkhand Assembly; Devendra Nath Mahto declares, “The agitation will not stop.”

Thousands of students protesting in Ranchi against irregularities in JPSC and JSSC examinations breached barricades and reached the gates of the Jharkhand Assembly. Police used water cannons and resorted to a lathi-charge to stop the students but failed to halt them. Meanwhile, student leader Devendra Nath Mahto stated that the agitation would not stop, asserting that it has transformed into a mass movement.
