Student protests in Bihar are increasingly becoming a political issue. Students were demonstrating in Patna over various demands, including recruitment exams and employment, when a confrontation broke out between them and the police. During a protest by TRE-4 aspirants on August 25, the police used water cannons and subsequently resorted to a lathi-charge. Reports emerged that several people, including a female student, were injured in the incident. Amidst this, Tejashwi Yadav has extended his support to the students’ movement. He visited the hospital to meet the injured students, inquired about their condition, and gathered details regarding their medical treatment.
